How to Deal with Android Microphones That Are Not Working


Using a smartphone as a tool to communicate has become a matter of necessity in the digital era like now. It can be said that we can easily contact someone via text message or even voicemail. However, the name of electronic goods will not be far from the name of a damage. Microphone on Android is one example, this small thing that may be damaged is often broken without us knowing the ship will happen.

If you have experienced some symptoms that may be strange when communicating via voice message on an Android device. It is very likely that the microphone on your smartphone has been damaged or has been exposed to bad malware. To overcome this there are a number of steps you might be able to follow below.

1. Try to Record Someone Voice or Phone

The first thing that you may be required to do is to ensure that the microphone is truly damaged or not by recording sound. You can record sound or send voice notes using social media.

If the sound contained in the recording is no problem, then you can be sure your microphone is fine. However, if there is a strange sound or the recording does not sound it is certain that your microphone is somewhat problematic.

2. Use a Headset

If when you record sound there is a strange sound that may be recorded, try to re-record using a headset. You can use any type of headset that can be connected to the Android smartphone.

Listen to the sound of the recording, if the sound is not problematic and normal it means your microphone is damaged. If the sound is still strange, it indicates that there is a malware that is somewhat disturbing the performance of the Android system, you should immediately do a Factory Reset if you experience something like this.

3. Check the Microphone Condition

You can remove the back casing of your Android to check the condition of the smartphone microphone. Place the microphone on each Android smartphone that is different, you should know its location by searching on Google first.

If you have found it, you can start to check it by groping the microphone and wipe it with tissue. If necessary, you can choose the microphone to clean the dust that has clogged inside.

4. Service or Warranty Claim

This last step is a fairly powerful step that can save the microphone on your Android. If you have followed the steps above but it has not yet been repaired, it is very likely that your microphone has been seriously damaged and must be replaced.

In order to reduce a damage to other components if you do the replacement yourself, it is better if you bring it to the service center or claim the warranty if it still exists. And do not be stingy to spend a little money to fix your favorite smartphone.
